My name is Malena.  I am a former English lawyer, originally from Peru, and with a passion for teaching both Castilian and Latin American Spanish. I am an experienced and accredited tutor, a native Spanish speaker, DBS checked, mother of two, and also trained in La Jolie Ronde method. I believe that from the first lesson students need to be immersed in the language therefore your lessons will be mostly conducted in Spanish so that fairly soon you will be confident enough to talk socially. For those interested in learning and understanding grammar, I will spend the necessary time to explain it in English.

This is what I offer:
- Structured and enjoyable small group tuition and 1:1 lessons to children in secondary and primary schools using a unique, proven and highly effective methodology.
- GCSE/IGCSE and A level Spanish lessons in a group or individual format and intensive revision lessons before exams.
- Spanish classes for adults who would like to get by in Spanish on their next holiday to Spain and/or Latin America or who are planning to live there or for general interest. You will also learn about Hispanic culture; traditions, history, gastronomy and much more.
After your first visit, I will design a tailor-made program that suits your particular requirements.

My one-to-one support has helped most of my students secure top grades at Alevel including A*s, As and Bs.
